We are Sarah’s Smile of Illinois. We share love and spread kindness to individuals, families, and
organizations who are in need of a smile due to loss and difficult times.
In the fall of 2018, at the age of 29, a young mom to 3 little boys, Sarah Cole died of cancer.
That year on Christmas Eve we delivered care packages to the ICU nurses who cared for her.
That was the start of Sarah's Smile of Illinois. By the next year, we were an official 501C3
nonprofit organization, dedicated to simple acts of kindness and sharing love. We give gift cards
and care packages to people who need to know they are loved: single parents, nursing units,
pediatric patients, Hospice workers and cancer patients and families affected by cancer.
Additionally, we have provided Valentine’s Day gifts and Halloween costumes to the children at
Mooseheart Child City and School and Lurie Children’s Hospital. We have also provided
Christmas parties for the residents of Sunnymere, an independent and assisted living community.
Our annual Sarah's Smile of Illinois Awareness Event helps us raise funds. We'd love for you
to support us! With your help, we can continue to share love and spread kindness to more people
locally and in the future nationwide!
Our annual awareness events are held in October, at Two Brother’s Roundhouse in Aurora.
